The Superyacht Show

The Superyacht Show was created by the members of the Large Yacht Brokers’ Association (LYBRA) after becoming increasingly disappointed with the lack of the qualified buyers attending the major boat shows. Traditionally, shows have a strong business-to-business element but for this reason, they’re not conducive to creating a truly ‘luxury experience’ for yacht buyers. LYBRA’s vision is to offer buyers and charterers, as well as their brokers and representatives, the opportunity to step on board some of the finest superyachts in the world, in an exclusive and private setting, alongside a hand-picked selection of some of the world’s premier luxury products and lifestyle brands. The quayside experience for the ultra-high net worth clients and their representatives during The Superyacht Show is specifically designed to be relaxed, elegant and enjoyable.


Scope of Work

Coote & Co. was asked to devise, launch and manage the show on behalf of LYBRA with full responsibility for developing and executing LYBRA’s vision. The remit included all event management from A to Z, including; marketing communications, sourcing luxury partners, on-site management of all sub-contractors, ticketing, visitor management and hospitality as well as handling all contracts, accounting and insurance.
