Marina Port Vell
Marina Port Vell is the premier superyacht marina in the heart of Barcelona. Originally developed into a luxury yacht facility by the Salamanca Group under the brand name of OneOcean Port Vell, the marina was subsequently acquired by Squircle Capital. Port Vell is the home of the Barcelona Boat Show and regularly hosts other superyacht industry events such as the MYBA Charter Show and The Superyacht Show. Its unique, city centre location and high-class facilities make it a very popular destination for superyacht owners, captains and crew.
Scope of Work
Following the acquisition by Squircle Capital, Coote & Co. was appointed to advise the marina team regarding the introduction of a new name and brand identity. The change from OneOcean to Marina Port Vell required careful consideration of all stakeholders and all elements of the communication mix. A variety of communication pieces were drafted and distributed to ensure that all key audiences were made aware of the changes as well as being fully informed about the ethos of the new brand identity.
