PATRICK COOTE

Our founder, Patrick Coote is, first and foremost, a marketer. He loves, lives and breathes marketing and has worked in this discipline throughout his career. His academic approach is the starting point for every project we undertake. However, great marketing is not always easy to find, especially in the traditional realms of yachting. Marketing in the superyacht sector is often poorly understood, poorly executed and rarely delivers a justifiable return on investment.

Ever since joining the superyacht community in 1995, Patrick and his team have worked closely with myriad superyacht companies and luxury brands to provide structure, strategy, planning and execution, ultimately of course to improve performance. His first-hand knowledge and 360 degree insight comes from a broad and varied luxury yacht background which has given him an in-depth understanding of the whole market, including; superyacht sales and charter, design, construction, refit, management, crew and operations.

When he's not on the water, Patrick is likely to be found deep in the French countryside, either on a motorbike, or on the back of a horse.

Patrick Coote

“Brand strategy is everything. If you make it the foundation stone of your organisation it will also be the key to your success.

Identify your unique, core offering, communicate it efficiently and effectively to your target audience and the results will follow. And no matter what you do, make it awesome.”

Ballyfin

The Coote family home, Ballyfin, was built in 1820 for Sir Charles Coote to designs by the great Irish architects Sir Richard and William Morrison. The house is widely acknowledged as one of the most important examples of nineteenth-century neo-classical Palladian architecture in Ireland and is famed for its elaborate interior design in the Empire style. The lavish Regency mansion sits within a 600 acre private estate which is now run as a luxury hotel and was recently voted the #1 Best Hotel in the World by Condé Nast.
